Oral Medications
Oral ED medications – Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, Stendra – revolutionized ED treatment. They work by keeping nitric oxide active in the penile tissue, relaxing blood vessels, and allowing blood to flow in to create an erection. Vacuum Erection Devices

Penile Injections
Penile injections administer medication directly into the corpora cavernosa—the spongy tissue of the penis—to induce an erection. This method bypasses the need for sexual stimulation and works by dilating blood vessels to increase blood flow. However, injections fail to work or cause an erection lasting over 4 hours 30% of the time.10 As well, repeated injections can cause scar tissue formation, leading to penile curvature or shortening.
