Meet Sarah
My husband Matt was deployed in in Iraq when an IED left him paralyzed and in a wheelchair. At first, we were in survival mode – just getting through the days. As time passed, the emotional weight hit. He smiled less. He avoided looking at me too long. And I missed him – not just the physical connection, but his confidence, laughter, and spark.
